 Our Women's Ministry program is designed to give the women at Town and Country Christian Church the opportunity to experience joy and growth in their Christian Life by participating in support, fellowship and evangelism activities.
Our purpose is to Glorify Christ in all things, to grow in the knowledge of His word, uplift and encourage one another in our Christian walks, and to provide opportunities for service in our church and community while reaching out to others.
Some of the activities and programs the women?s ministry is involved in are:
- Outreach and Evangelism
- Distributing a monthly newsletter for women, "TAG"
- Providing hospitality baskets to new church visitors
- Giving a couple's devotional Bible to newlyweds
- Maintaining a Women?s Ministry table and bulletin board
Spiritual Growth
Daytime and evening Bible studies just for women National, regional, and local conference attendance Prayer breakfasts
Group Activities:
- Daytime trips
- Swim parties
- Craft nights
- Dinner parties
Plus, Three or four larger events during the year which include:
- The Taste of Town & Country
- A Ladies' Day Brunch
- A Secret Sisters' Tea
Service Opportunities:
- Preparing communion
- Providing meals to families of new infants
- Providing funeral meals
- Sending goody boxes to college students and military personnel
- Representation on the CCV Auxiliary
- Maintenance of the kitchen
- Organizing an all-church rummage sale
- Collecting items for charitable organizations
The Women's Ministry planning meetings are held bi-monthly every other Tuesday at 6:00pm at the church.
All ladies are invited to attend. These meetings serve as a forum for necessary business discussions and planning for ministry needs.
